This is
another find from Black Wire Records. I bought this split for the Hot Water
Music side, not having herd of Rydell before. This is the second pressing of
this split released by Scene Police in 1998.
On the Hot
Water Music side of things we have ‘Just Don’t Say You Lost It’. This has to be
one of my favourite Hot Water songs. The track appears on the ‘Forever and Counting’
LP so if you can’t track this 7” down just buy the album.
Rydell come
from Susses in the UK.
Their song ‘Try Seventeen’ is in a similar emotional punk rock vein as Hot
Water Music just not a gruff.
