Icepick
formed in 1996 as the side project of Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta and Danny Diablo
or Crown of Thornz and Skarhead. As you would expect, this is brutal hardcore
full of beatdowns and songs about typical hardcore things such as taking a
stand and loyalty stuff along those lines. There is a tone of guest vocals on
here as well, including Ice-T, Roger Miret, Freddy Cricien and Al Barr.
It’s nothing new and gets repetitive fairly
fast, but for what it is it holds its own amongst other tuff hardcore albums.
